Other Inspiration / Andere Inspiratie

A book that inspired this theme, and that has inspired so many things already is Anthony Doerr’s ‘All the light we cannot see‘. The book describes the Natural History museum of Paris and he describes it so vastly and vividly that I was instantly in love <3

And do you know my favorite part? The National Natural History Museum Paris is a REAL museum *squeeeee* You can find all info about the museum here. I really want to pay a visit (to its many locations) one day.

One of the most famous halls is the Grande Gallerie de L’evolution <3

And one that’s equally as stunning is the Gallerie de Paleontologie

To top it off, they have an enormous greenhouse in their ‘Jardin des Plantes’

The Hexie

For the second hexie of this museum theme I have used the Gallerie de L’evolution for my inspiration <3 I don’t think I have to explain why, haha. For the yarn I used 8 colors Scheepjes Stone Washed from the Colour Pack*. The colorlist can be found below.

Which colors do you see when you think of museums? You can use my colors, or come up with your own colorway. You can find the pattern for both hexies here! Don’t forget to show me your hexies on social media, using #inspirationalhexies, because I’d love to see them!
