Other Inspiration / Andere Inspiratie
There are a lot of DIY Christmas posts, so how about making your own ornaments? I have found a few very fun ideas if you want to DIY your Christmas tree : ) The first one is from designmom.com and uses birch discs and an etching tool.
Er zijn heel veel doe-het-zelf Kerst pagina’s, dus wat vind je ervan om je eigen kerstversiering te maken? Ik heb een paar erg leuke ideeen gevonden om je kerstboom te doe-het-zelven : ) De eerste is van designmom.com en gebruikt houten schijfjes en een brandapparaat.

Of wat denk je van deze tutorial voor een kerstbal gemaakt van twijn. Denk maar aan al die gareneindjes die we overhouden van onze Kerstkadootjes die we hiervoor kunnen gebruiken ; )

And if a tree is not your thing, how about a gorgeous wreath?! This one by attic24 has been on my to-do list for ages. One day I will make one, I swear!
En als een boom niet je ding is, wat vind je dan van een prachtige krans?! Deze van attic24 staat echt enorm lang op mijn to-do lijstje. Op een dag ga ik hem maken, echt waar!
But if you don’t have the desire to craft at all (imagine that!), you can gape at the stunning macro photo’s of Alexey Kljatov <3 He takes photo’s of snowflakes using special equipement. It does confirm that each snowflake is unique.
Maar als je helemaal geen zin hebt om iets te maken (kun je je voorstellen!) dan kan je ook nog naar deze adembenemende macro foto’s van Alexey Kljatov staren <3 Hij neemt foto’s van sneeuwvlokken met speciaal materiaal. Het klopt dus blijkbaar wel dat elke sneeuwvlok uniek is.

The Hexie
For the second hexie of this theme I used colorful Christmas lights, because they signify the time of year that is filled with coziness <3 For the yarn I used 8 colors Scheepjes Stone Washed and River Washed from the Colour Pack*. The colorlist can be found below.
Voor de tweede hexie van dit thema heb ik kleurige kerstlichtjes gebruikt als inspiratie, want dat staat voor mij voor de tijd van het jaar dat gevuld is met gezelligheid <3 Voor het garen gebruikte ik 8 kleuren van Scheepjes Stone Washed en River Washed uit de Colour Pack*. De kleurenlijst kan je hieronder vinden.
*The codes that start with an 8 are Stone Washed colors, the codes that start with a 9 are River Washed colors. / De codes beginnend met een 8 zijn Stone Washed kleuren, de codes beginnend met een 9 zijn River Washed kleuren.
