Ik had al eerder aangegeven dat ik druk bezig was met een ontwerp, waarvan alle winst zal worden gedoneerd om de verschrikkelijke vuurzee te helpen bestrijden die nu door Australia woedt en die de natuur en de schepsels daarin op vreselijke wijze vernietigt. I want to share some photo’s of my progress so far. I think I never worked as fast on a design like this one and I am almost done!

Ik wil graag wat foto’s delen van mijn voorgang. Ik denk dat ik niet niet eerder zo snel heb gewerkt aan een ontwerp als deze en ik ben daarom al bijna klaar!

As you can see it’s a wrap design using a simple overlay crochet pattern to create columns of eucalyptus leaves, combined with hdc (US) and sc for a ribbed texture. I absolutely love the look of it and I feel it can be worn by woman as well as men.

Zoals je kunt zien is het een omslagdoek met een simpel reliëf steek patroon waarmee kolommen van eucalyptus blaadjes worden gemaakt, gecombineerd met hst en v voor een ribbeltextuur. Ik vind het echt prachtig hoe het eruit ziet en ik vind dat het zowel door vrouwen als mannen gedragen kan worden.

Yarn/Garen

The wrap uses 11 colors of Scheepjes Stone Washed and River Washed* and the design is made in a way that you can use up most of each ball, so there will be little to no left overs. It is also very fun to see all those colors combined in the wrap.

De omslagdoek gebruikt 11 kleuren Scheepjes Stone Washed en River Washed* en het ontwerp is zo gemaakt dat je het meeste van elke bol kunt gebruiken, zodat er weinig tot geen restjes zijn. Het is ook erg leuk om al die kleuren te zien samenkomen in de omslagdoek.
